Training and lessons are available at full service facilities in San Juan Capistrano and Oceanside.  We have training available for your horse as well as trained competitive horses and schoolmasters available to meet your needs whatever your skill level.  We work with riders of all ages.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY.

you may not be a  paid professional trainer,  but every time you handle a  horse on the ground or in the saddle, you are training it!  You are either training the horse for outcomes you want or ones you were not intending to develop!  You are training or "untraining" something.  You are re enforcing  behaviors  intentionally or unintentionally.  So often folks do not even realize that they just reinforced  a  subtle but ever present horse behavior that the handler was not even aware existed  Our philosophy at EDI  is to train handlers to recognize the hidden trainer in themselves!    We strive to train you to better train your  horse!  We do this by educating you on theory as well as practical hands on  experiential approach to training desirable behaviors.    our goals for each of our riders, owner, handlers, etc. is a  thorough understanding and awareness of their teaching interactions with their horses.
  We strive to instill knowledge, awareness,  and understanding which lead to a  more confident and capable equestrian!


FACILITY

Our facilities are state of the art with indoor and outdoor arenas with superb safe footing.   Arenas are well maintained  daily with watering systems and drags.Round pens and schooling arenas on site as well as an agility field and half mile track.   Our facility atmisphere is tranquil and relaxing.   We have access to miles of trails.  Come visit us at the Oceanside Ca or San Juan Capistrano Ca facility! 


LEARNING

Our training programs take into consideration the unique abilities and needs of each individual horse and rider;  there is no one method which applies to all individuals.  Your horse must be assessed and analyzed on an ongoing basis in physical, psychological, and emotional parameters.  This ongoing evolution is a necessary process in order to create a training program that utilizes and optimizes all three of these vital components.  Having in depth understanding and expertise in the process of learning and bbehavior modification expedite the training process helping you and your horse progress more effectively and efficiently.  Your horse will develop his or her strengths while minimizing and transforming his or her weaknesses.  awareness and sensatibity to behavioral nuances  facilitate optimal communication between trainer and horse.  an understanding of learning and behaviors that are unique to horses as opposed to other species is key to unlocking a  deep connection between horse and handler.


COMMUNICATION

 Training is for you as well as your horse.  Equiventures has dressage horses for  basic up to advanced techniques.  Horsemanship is all about COMMUNICATION.  You will learn all the many different ways you can communicate with your horse in order to guide him or her toward the behavior and performance which you seek.  This process, when engaged correctly, results in an confident  and rewarding relationship between horse and rider.  Beginners start by learning the "ABC's,"  then "words" and eventually "sentences" for a full and rich communication.  All your hard work will pay off in the sensitivity necessary to convey the most complex set of nuanced aids. With the appropriate training and commitment the end product is a seamless and impressive "dance".

Dr. Mojiana Moghadam's  educational background is in psychology and behavior. . She is also a certified coach,   NARHA certified Advance Level Instructor as well as a  Certified EGALA Horse  Professional. Having 35 years� experience with horses and over 17 years of specialized dressage experience, her educational background lends itself well to those  who wish to  progress and succeed  in their  goals.   

Dr. Moj offers training for riders of all levels from beginner through advanced, seeking to improve their skills through a greater understanding of horse psychology and behavior and of horsemanship  principals and techniques.   Her approach to training is an eclectic combination of natural horsemanship, classical techniques,  and applied learning and behavior modalities.    She will help you to understand your horse better in order to maximize clear communication for more effective and expeditious training.   Dr. Moj has backed and brought numerous young horses of a variety of breeds up through the dressage levels from introductory through o  FEI  .  Dr. Moj will help you unlock and fully develop your horse�s ultimate potential. Utilizing an eclectic theoretical and practical approach which takes into consideration each horse�s unique behavioral characteristics, history, strengths, and weaknesses, she adapts her trainer�s approach to:
